DAY 1: ARUSHA

Your family vacation begins with a warm welcome in Arusha, the safari capital of East Africa. Take the opportunity to get to know the city, the colorful markets and experience the region’s daily life.

DAY 2 – 3: TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK

Before leaving Arusha, you and your family will take an excursion to Shanga village – an inspiring rural community, where residents boast of their extremely creative art made with glass and other materials.

After the incredible experience, it’s time to continue your journey to Tarangire National Park, where you will enjoy the first safari of the day. Keep the camera ready and your eyes wide open for the surprises of this savanna.

Relax and enjoy the feeling of being in the savannas of Africa, away from the chaos of the city. Admire the region’s landscapes and take the family for a walk near the lake to admire the sunset.

DAY 4 – 5: NGORONGORO CRATER

After a delicious breakfast, it’s time to move your camping tents to a larger lodge in the Rift Valley. Take the opportunity to relax a bit and cool off before heading to Lake Manyara, famous for flamingos.

We include lunch and a walk through the village Mto was Mbu, a rich and enlightening experience of culture and gastronomy, as well as a memorable activity for the whole family.

A visit to the Ngorongoro Crater is a must, as we are talking about the largest intact caldera in the world, home to over 30,000 animals, including antelopes, zebras, rhinos and lions, an experience that will be a lifelong affair.

DAY 6 – 8: SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK

Day to head towards the historic Olduvai Gorge, an archeological region of East Africa that houses the Zinjanthropus (or “Nutcracker Man”). The Nutcracker Man was East Africa’s first human skull discovered and is over 75 million years old!

The next stop will be in a Masai village, Emayatta, for an exciting encounter with this unique African culture. With their colorful clothes, the members of the tribe will share with their visitors their customs and the way they live in harmony with nature.

DAY 9 – 10: STONE TOWN

Your experience in the Serengeti is followed by the exotic contrasts of Stone Town, in Zanzibar, with palm trees swaying in the wind, white-sand beaches, sparkling waves, azure sea adorned by sailboats. This vibrant and rustic atmosphere is a warm-up for the next few days in paradise.

We added a free sunset cruise, a delightful family time. The trip includes tasty snacks and Taraab music – a musical genre influenced by the traditions of the people of the Great Lakes region in the Rift Valley.

DAY 11 – 14: EAST COAST OF ZANZIBAR

Your journey continues for another four days on the beautiful beaches of Zanzibar. Here you will enjoy Tanzania’s most famous scenery, just like in the pictures published in tourism magazines around the world. Take the time to say goodbye to this unforgettable trip through East Africa. We hope to see you soon for more adventures on the continent
